Summer Bibb This lettuce has ornamental light green leaves that are dotted with 1/4″ red spots. Crispy heads mature in 45 days and often self-blanch in the center. Perfect for farmers market and for the home gardener. This Heirloom variety was developed by Lt. John Bibb an amateur horticulturist who served during the War of 1812 however it wasn’t offered commercially until 1935.
