80-85 days. Vegetable Soybeans (edamame) produce large beans that are high in protein and sweet if harvested in the shelled green bean stage. Plant 3-4 seed per foot (1/2 to 1 inch deep) in 30 inch rows when soil temperatures reach 70 and all chances of frost have passed. Plant height 24-30 inches.
